Choose or create a Look

Choose an existing Look or create a new Look:

  1. Click the Looks tab.
  2. Click the cross button.
  3. Click Create New Look.
  4. In the Label field, add a name for your look.
  5. [Optional] In the Image setting, click cross Add to add an image to your screen. This is often used to add a brand icon or logo. You can change the position or size of your image.

To stop using a selected Look, click the Look again to switch back to your original camera view.

Choose how your real background appears

In the Background setting, choose if you want your real background to be:

  1. Visible: Your real background is visible behind you
  2. Blurred: Your real background is blurred behind you
  3. Hidden: Your real background is hidden behind you

Change the shape of your frame

Your frame determines how much of your head, body, and real background appear on stage. In the Background setting, choose if you want your Shape to be:

  1. Rectangle: A full rectangular frame
  2. Circle: A tight circular frame
  3. Hexagon: A tight hexagonal frame

Additional style settings

In Additional settings, you can change the following:

  • Fade: click and drag the slider to change the opacity of your appearance from fully opaque, to translucent, to fully transparent.
  • Enhance: click and drag the slider to adjust the light, shadow, and contour of your appearance.
  • Effects: click the dropdown menu and select an effect to add fun visual overlays to your appearance. If the intensity of an effect can be adjusted, a slider will appear under the selected effect.

Add a wallpaper

In the Wallpaper tab, you can add a wallpaper to your Look. Choose a wallpaper or browse more wallpapers and add a custom wallpaper:

  1. Click the cross button.
    • To browse more Airtime wallpapers, click the dropdown menu and select a category, then select a wallpaper.
    • To add a custom wallpaper, click Browse computer.
      • In the window that appears, select an image or video file to upload from your computer. Video files will not play sound when used as a wallpaper.
Tip: For best results, use an image with a width-to-height ratio of 16:9. We recommend 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is a common size that’s big enough to look great in Airtime.

Add a name tag

In the Name tag tab, you can add a name tag to your Look. You can change the Content and Style of the name tag in this section.

When you're done, click Save.

To stop using a selected Visual, click the Visual again to switch back to your original camera view.

Tip: For best results, use an image with a width-to-height ratio of 16:9. We recommend 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is a common size that’s big enough to look great in Airtime.
