If you try to install Airtime on Mac, you may encounter this error: "The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."
Check that your Mac meets system requirements
First, check that your Mac meets the system requirements for Airtime.
Check your Privacy & Security settings
- In your Mac menu bar, click the Apple icon and select System Settings.
- In the left sidebar, go to Privacy & Security.
- Select Files & Folders.
- Click
next to Installer.
- Turn on the switch next to the Desktop Folder and the Downloads Folder. This will give the Installer access to files in both locations.
- Check that the AirtimeCamera.dmg or AirtimeCreator.dmg file is located in either the Desktop or Downloads folder. If it isn't, move the file to one of those folders.
- Open the AirtimeCamera.dmg or AirtimeCreator.dmg file to try to install Airtime again.
